In the past 3 years We haven’t stopped being busy, so busy that this website was neglected, well, here is a quick gallery of major projects in the past few years. I cover most trades except wall papering, plastering (large areas) and Slabbing…
A new and interesting project has just been completed, the erection of a canopy over a house entrance. The build is made to measure and it can be made in any shape and size. Due to weather conditions to upper part could not be stained, but will have the same colour as the side bannister when done.
A New customer had a ripped shed roof to replace, called Bib and job done in about 2 hours.
As the client that needed to order the parts for the gutter replacement contacted me, I proceeded to replace the thing, all done as well as a couple of other snags whilst I was there:
Wobbly children bed tightening and some wardrobe that was fixed to a wall needing moved slightly to the left.
A Client in Dunblane had a leaking gutter, the gutter, made of cast iron was just too old and could not be repaired, I advised him to order some parts needed to replace the faulty items, he will contact me when all is ready to fit.
Although I can procure the parts for a [£25] fee , I always suggest to my customers that they can save money by ordering or getting the parts required for the jobs.
I also am very aware of my limitations and if a job is better done by an expert in less time and better I will advise my client of this. Honesty is always appreciated 🙂
This time it was a serious job, all the old felt removed, a thick sheet of plastic covering the whole roof and finally a new set of sheets of felt from Wickes. Not to forget the glue.
